It’s been 22 years since the terror attacks in New York City, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. The sky was clear, the weather was beautiful and then, seemingly within moments the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center came down.

Former NY Governor George Pataki (R-NY) tells listeners how he led the state through the recovery efforts and rebuilding of Ground Zero. He reflects on the development of the 9/11 memorial, Freedom Tower, and the transformation of lower Manhattan.

Later, Sonia Agron volunteered as a recovery worker at Ground Zero on overnight shifts, while dealing with a multitude of illnesses brought on by exposure to the toxic environment. She joins Janice to tell her story, as well as her husband’s, who was among the valiant NYPD officers that responded to the tragic attack.
