Abby is joined by Anchor of FOX News Sunday and Host of the Livin’ The Bream Podcast Shannon Bream for a lesson about the Supreme Court’s ruling on affirmative action programs.
Shannon provides context to the role that affirmative action played in college admissions programs up until June of this year, when the Supreme Court voted in a 6-3 decision to strike it down. She breaks down how the Justices sided in the rulings and discusses the arguments that were at the center of the cases. Later, Shannon explains how the Supreme Court’s decision on affirmative action could impact other programs, such as employment and legacy admissions.
