DoorDash has committed to delivering what you need despite turbulent weather.
Global Head of Public Affairs at DoorDash Taylor Bennett joins Janice to detail the delivery services Severe Weather Protocol initiative to keep dashers, customers, and merchants safe during emergencies.
Taylor explains how the initiative works to improve safety within communities experiencing severe weather, by using real-time weather data to alert app users of hazardous conditions in the area. He later tells Janice about DoorDash’s Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund, which provides small businesses with up to $10,000 in grants to cover operating costs such as rent or mortgage repayments, food and beverage inventory, utilities, and supplier costs.
