Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future Daniel Turner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to New York Democratic Congressman Jamaal Bowman’s claim that the U.S. has to “stop drilling for fossil fuels completely” in order to prevent future severe weather events.

“One of the things I’d like to say to the Congressman, besides the fact that his Lucite eyeglass frames are made from oil, when he says we need to stop drilling for oil right now, no more fossil fuels. Well, all of the wind and solar that you want are all made from fossil fuels. So it is kind of like saying, you know what, we eat way too much bread. We need to get rid of wheat production and we’re just going to eat bagels instead. And you say, well, you’re not really like changing anything. You’re just using wheat in a different way. And that’s the same with the renewables. They don’t use less fossil fuels. They use as many fossil fuels as ever before. They just use it differently. And if that makes you feel good about yourself and declare yourself green, it shows how dumb you are because you’re not really doing anything.”

Daniel and Jimmy also discuss the controversial articles of clothing Target has been selling as part of their Pride month celebration.  Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
