Host of “Mansion Global” on Fox Business Katrina Campins joins Fox Across America With guest host Rich Zeoli to share her reaction to American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten’s rant about the need for student loan forgiveness.
“I worked my tail off to pay for school. So I worked at the University of Miami Library, stacking books of all things, making $5 an hour. And then I realized that that was not going to cut it. So that’s when I got into real estate and got my real estate license and convinced people basically to let me sell their house. But had I not had that motivation to pay for my own education, I don’t know that I would have been as incentivized to go out there and hustle and like make something of myself. And I think this just basically continues along the lines of, like this is just the sense of entitlement to me. And she’s talking about fairness, like she’s screaming at the top of her lungs, which it makes her sound like an activist as opposed to someone that’s in a leadership position. I just think her behavior is totally off. But she shouts about fairness. Is it fair to us who actually had to work while we were in college to pay off all of our student loans? I don’t believe so.”
Katrina and Rich also talk about why education is likely to be one of the key issues in the 2024 presidential election. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
