Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) spoke to Brian Kilmeade about his listening tour for a potential presidential run. Scott also responded to President Biden saying Republicans want to cut Social Security and Medicare. Scott says Republicans have no desire to negatively impact Social Security and President Biden is creating this myth for the purposes of his reelection. When asked about Democrats making South Carolina their first presidential primary, Scott feels moving South Carolina up is to the advantage of Joe Biden because of the high level of black voter participation in South Carolina. Scott says this is another reinforcement that identity politics is the way of the future for the radical left in America. Scott believes Iowa has the type of diversity of thought that informs the entire nation. Scott added, there is something very important about the tradition of Iowa going first, it’s one of the reasons why we as South Carolinians, have embraced that.
