Bill Melugin, National correspondent for FOX News joined the Guy Benson Show to break down Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s declaration of invasion means for illegal border crossings.

Melugin explained the declaration order saying,

“So Governor Abbott is formally issuing a declaration of invasion at the border, meaning he is invoking both the Texas and the US Constitution in describing what’s happening down here as an invasion. And as such, he is surging more Texas resources down here as part of Operation Lone Star, which includes sending ten armored personnel carriers, APC from the Texas National Guard down to the border, sending more Texas DPS, more National Guard. In terms of actual action, we’re waiting to wait and see.”
