Is Midterm Momentum Swinging Back To The GOP?

The balance of Congress hangs in the balance this November as a struggling economy, recent natural disaster and new polling in key battleground states threaten to change the state of the midterm election. Anchor of Fox News Sunday Shannon Bream joins the Rundown to discuss Democrats and Republicans core issues going into the midterms and why older voters will be an important demographic to watch on election night. Later, she breaks down how the aftermath of Hurricane Ian is an important time for Florida’s Governor DeSantis to prove his leadership, how Putin may use sham referendum votes in captured territory to justify nuclear action and the uncertain direction of the U.S. economy.

Five years ago, a gunman opened fire on a crowd of people attending the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident marked the worst mass shooting in United States history, resulting in 60 deaths and leaving 413 people injured. Lisa Fine-Cavalli attended the festival and survived the massacre. She joins the Rundown to recount her experience that night, and how the horrors still impact her today. She also discusses the work done by Route91Strong, a nonprofit she co-founded that offered financial support to survivors rebuilding their lives following the tragedy.
