Evening Edition: Ukraine’s Counteroffensive Exposes Russian Military Flaws
Ukrainian military commanders say they have recaptured over two thousand square miles from Russia since the beginning of September with reports of Russian soldiers fleeing from the fight leaving behind weapons and vehicles. The recent gains have been made in a short time but the planning was patient and could indicate a new phase of the war. FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Dr. Matthew Schmidt, Russia expert and Associate Professor at the University of New Haven, about the long game strategy Ukraine is implementing to counter the Russian invasion.
