Daniel Turner: Biden Getting Oil From Saudi Arabia Will Actually Produce A Bigger Carbon Footprint
Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future Daniel Turner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on President Biden’s recently announced trip to Saudi Arabia next month, as his administration tries to figure out ways to lower gas prices in the U.S.
“When Biden goes over in July to ask them to produce more oil, the Saudis don’t have the same environmental and regulatory standards we do. So they’re producing more of it in Saudi Arabia. They’re going to put it on tankers. It’s got to go through the standard Straits of Hormuz. And let’s hope the Iranians don’t launch bombs at it, which they probably will. When was the last time we’ve talked about the Straits of Hormuz? We haven’t because we haven’t needed their oil. But get ready, it’s going to happen again. And then the tankers have to go all the way around, through the Straits of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf, etc., and then it’s got to make its way across America. How many hundreds of thousands of gallons of diesel are those tankers going to burn? Is it better than if we just produced more oil from Texas and from Alaska? If you truly believe in global climate change, if it’s all one big happy world and an elephant sneezing in Africa is no different than an elephant sneezing in the Bronx Zoo, if you believe that, well then why would we be okay with that much more emissions, that much more of a heavy carbon footprint producing Saudi oil? We wouldn’t. But that’s just proof it’s all one big lie.”
Daniel also explains how Biden’s energy policies have done extensive damage to the U.S. economy. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
