Heather Robinson: How George Gascon’s Woke Policies Are Emboldening Gangs In Los Angeles

New York Post contributor Heather Robinson joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon’s soft-on-crime policies have led to an uptick in ‘follow home’ robberies in the nation’s second-largest city.

“It’s apparently 18 gangs from South L.A. involved, and it’s gotten much worse in the past year or so, especially since there’s a Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, and his office is very reluctant to use what are called enhancement provisions that allow prosecutors to give stiffer sentences for gang related crime and crime that causes grievous bodily injury. There are fewer people going away for a long time. And what I’m hearing is that the LAPD winds up arresting and reassessing the same people for alleged violent crimes. There’s also a lot of liberalizing of the bail policies so that people are getting out on bail more and more, including for alleged violent crimes.”
