Arizona AG Mark Brnovich: Biden & Harris “Broke The Border So They Own This”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich explains why VP Harris’ visit to the border won’t fix the immigration problem the Biden Administration caused themselves.

“The reality is, the Biden administration broke the border and you know the Pottery Barn rule, you break it, you buy it. So they own this.”

“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts. So just objectively, we know that the Biden administration, there is 1.2 million people who who have received final deportation orders. They’ve stopped those deportations. You know hat’s why I have one of our lawsuits. We’re waiting for the federal judge to make a decision whether they have to continue to follow the law, or they can disregard it. But all the context, ICE detainers have dropped from more than 10,000 a month in 2021, less than 2,500 in March and April. We know that if you look at the numbers year over year, even in May, of fentanyl, up three hundred percent. So we’ve seen this dramatic increase in the amount of fentanyl. We know that even Wray, the FBI director, just testified a couple of weeks ago that there’s no question that the cartel activity on their side of the border is spilling over in all sorts of ways. I mean, so objectively, we know that we are seeing a record amount of folks illegally crossing our southern border. We know that fiscally there are literally tens of millions of dollars in contracts out there for people that have come across illegally to be housed here in Arizona or in other states. We know that in Arizona, there’s a hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, that has never been used as a detention center, is now housing twelve hundred to two thousand people that have come across the border illegally. So whatever objective data you want to look at, this is a crisis. And it’s because the Biden administration and Kamala Harris essentially decriminalized, incentivized and now monetizing people to come here illegally. That’s the bottom line. If you believe in markets and capitalism, if you incentivize something, you’re going to see more of it. And the Biden administration is incentivizing and encouraging people to cross the border illegally. It’s as simple as that.”
