FOX News Rundown Extra: Neil deGrasse Tyson On Mars, The Moon And American Leadership

NASA this year successfully landed its fifth rover on Mars. Perseverance is the most technologically advanced robot NASA has sent to date and it aims to remain there for two years to explore the red planet’s surface.

Recently on the FOX News Rundown, astrophysicist, and director of New York’s Hayden Planetarium, Neil deGrasse Tyson joined host Lisa Brady to weigh in on the significance of the latest Mars mission.

Tyson explained, as only he can, about why this mission is so important and what it could mean for the future of space exploration and humans eventually landing on Mars. Tyson also discussed a handful of other space-related topics including NASA potentially returning to the moon.

The interview was too long and we could not include all of it in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown, you will hear our full conversation with famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.
