Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC): Liz Cheney “Didn’t Mention A Word” About Supporting Impeachment, “She Just Did It”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) discussed the wing of the Republican Party that supported the impeachment of President Trump, especially Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).
“Here’s the issue that I have with them. Liz Cheney is an example. She’s in leadership. She’s third-most powerful person as far as leadership goes in our caucus. She didn’t mention a word to us as a group. She just did it. And then let Steny Hoyer quote her as the great one that dissented and joined the Democrats over impeachment of a man who’s done so much for this country. It’s a matter of degree. The President always said Republicans don’t know how to fight like the Democrats do. Democrats do stick together or I think there’s a lot of turmoil underneath the surface, but they somehow kept it, until AOC, pretty quiet. But now we’re going to have some real discussions. I’m calling for Liz to step down. She should not be in the position she’s in.”
