Why don’t young people want construction jobs? The share of young construction workers declined nearly 30% since 2005, according a recent story in the Wall Street Journal. Because of the shortage, the cost of labor and housing is going way up.
On Wednesday’s show, Tom Shillue discussed this issue and talked to one contractor who are so desperate to hire people, she was offering people beer and daycare.
