Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) spoke with Brian Kilmeade about Mike Pompeo replacing Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State. Gaetz believes it is important to thank Rex Tillerson for his work “setting the stage” for President Trump’s upcoming meeting with Kim Jong-un because, “If we didn’t have the good work of Rex Tillerson, we would not be in the position today to possibly stave off war.” On the Pennsylvania special election, Gaetz said Conor Lamb is the winner despite Rick Saccone’s calls for a recount and went on to say, “I don’t believe Conor Lamb would have won this election if we would have repealed Obamacare” Gaetz is not nervous about the November midterms after the Pennsylvania election but stresses republicans need to stand behind President Trump and said, we need to take this loss to heart and we have got to understand we are not just going to be able to just run on tax cuts we ahve to execute on the president’s agenda in other areas.”

Congressman Gaetz also weighed in on Gina Haspel becoming the new Director of the CIA, democrats crying foul over republicans saying there is no proof or collusion between the Trump Administration and Russia and the debate over raising the age to buy a rifle to 21.
