Ravens’ National Anthem Singer Quits

The Baltimore Ravens official national anthem singer is resigning over reaction to anthem protests in the NFL.

FOX’s Chris Foster reports:

Joey Odoms won a contest in 2014 to sing the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ at Ravens’ home games. He’s a combat veteran, and African-American.

He writes on Facebook that although the Ravens have been nothing but nice, “fans who attack players for protesting, (a right in which I fought to defend) but are simply not interested in understanding why, is the reason I am resigning.”

Players kneeling during the national anthem has caused some Baltimore fans to cancel season tickets and get rid of team merchandise.
