High Profile Men’s Basketball Coach Placed on Administrative Leave

University of Louisville men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino is one of he latest names wrapped up in connection to an ongoing corruption scandal in NCAA basketball.

University of Louisville men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino and the school’s Athletic Director are on administrative leave amid yesterday’s federal indictment that charged 10 other men, including NCAA assistant coaches, with using hundreds of thousands of dollars in brides to influence star athletes’ choice of schools… Louisville among them:

(Postel) “We’re not going to tolerate what we have learned about.”

University of Louisville interim President Greg Postel says he’s more angry than embarrassed and that an interim head coach at Louisville is expected to be announced later this week.
