School District Apologizes for Teacher Telling Students No Trump Shirts Can be Worn

A Georgia teacher slammed for allegedly kicking two students out of class because they were wearing ‘Make America Great Again’ shirts.

    FOX’s Krystin Goodwin reports:

A video shared on social media shows an unidentified teacher at River Ridge High School telling students clothing with President Trump’s campaign slogan is not welcome in her classroom.

The school district has apologized, saying the teacher “inappropriately shared her personal opinion about the campaign slogan during class.” And say “her actions were wrong” the “shirts worn by the students are not a violation” of the school district’s dress code.

The district did not identify the teacher and said it could not discuss disciplinary action.

The superintendent is meeting with all staff to remind them their political opinions should not be shared with students.
