President Trump Donating $1 Million of His Own for Harvey Relief Efforts

    President Trump will head back to Texas.

    FOX’s Jon Decker reporting from the White House:

    Confirmation from White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders that President and Mrs. Trump will travel to Houston on Saturday to meet with first responders and those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

    Sanders also confirmed that the President will make a sizeable donation to help Texas and Louisiana residents get back on their feet:

    (Sanders) “He would like to join in the efforts that a lot of the people that we see across the country do and he’s pledging a million dollars of personal money to the fund.”
