Uber’s New CEO

Uber officially has a new CEO and he’s meeting employees Wednesday.

    FOX’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:

In a statement to its employees, Uber gives a brief description of Dara Khosrowshahi’s bio, including that he was CEO at Expedia since 2005 and says they’re introducing him in an all hands meeting Wednesday. In a memo to his staff at Expedia, he told them he’s scared. After 12 years he’s forgotten what it’s like outside Expedia, but that to grow sometimes you have to go outside your comfort zone.

And Uber is no comfort zone. After several legal issues, Uber’s old CEO and founder Travis Kalanick was forced out, he complimented Khosrowshahi in a statement and said “casting a vote for the new chief executive was a big moment and he couldn’t be happier to pass the torch to such an inspiring leader.”
