Young Doe Busted by Officers for “Toll Evasion”
Oh “deer”… A young doe busted on a Bay Bridge for toll evasion.
FOX’s Krystin Goodwin has the story:
California Highway Patrol officers say they stopped a young deer on a toll bridge for “toll evasion.” The disoriented deer walked on to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge early Tuesday.
Officers say they were able to snap a photo of the doe in the middle of an on ramp with a deer in the headlights look on its face. The image was shared on Twitter where an officer joked the fawn usually pays the toll, but “today she was a buck short.” The pun was a hit with folks online.
Officers say the deer only stayed for a quick photo op and fled back into the woods near by.
