Gas Taxes & Wholesale Prices Might be a Reason for Gas Prices Increasing
Gas prices inching up.
FOX’s Lisa Lacerra reports:
The price of gas up slightly:
(Lundberg) “We have a rise of one cent in the past two weeks, after 11 weeks of drops. The new price is $2.32 and there might be a few more penny’s rise to come.”
Oil industry analyst Trilby Lundberg with the Lundberg Survey who says higher wholesale prices and higher gas taxes are to blame.
The highest price in Reno, Nevada at $2.99 a gallon. The cheapest in Jackson, Mississippi at $1.97. The current price about ten cents above where it was a year ago.
