On Sunday, 10 illegal immigrants were found dead in a trailer in San Antonio, Texas. Tom Shillue thinks that, in order to avoid something like this happening in the future, we need to get meaner and start enforcing our laws.

During The Tom Shillue Show on Monday, Tom discussed thetragedy in San Antonio. He said that our immigration laws are too lax, particularly in sanctuary cities. Sanctuary cities especially create a false sense of security, and they make people think that getting to the United States will be easy.

If the laws were stricter, then the driver of the trailer might not have been able transport all of those people across the Mexican border. Tom argued that we have to be less compassionate in order to save more lives. For their own sake, it would just be safer if the migrants stayed home.
