California Man Claims 10th Largest Lottery Prize in U.S. History

    Now we know who won the tenth largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

    FOX’s Lisa Brady reports:

    A man in California claiming the winning ticket sold last month in the small city of Menifee for a more than $440 million Powerball jackpot.

    Jeff Lindsay declining to do interviews, but saying the family’s “obviously thrilled” and still trying to work through an overwhelming process. He adds in a written statement, they plan to carefully invest so that the newfound wealth can support the family and causes important to them for generations to come.

    The owner of the liquor and deli store that sold the winning ticket says he doesn’t know yet what his family will do with their $1 million.
