President Trump Set to Celebrate Bastille Day with French President

President heads back to Europe this week to help celebrate Bastille Day in Paris with the French President.

FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

President Trump accepted an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron to join him for Bastille Day. The two leaders will review a traditional military parade on the Champs-Élysées, which this year will mark the 100th anniversary of the entry of the U.S. into World War I.

Breaking tradition, this year American and French troops will march side by side along the avenue.

The White House said the visit is aimed at “reaffirming America’s strong ties of friendship to France,” and “celebrating this important day with the French people.”
