Supreme Court Set to Hear Accusations of Wisconsin Gerrymandering

The Supreme Court agrees to take on accusations of gerrymandering in Wisconsin.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

The high court justices will hear later this year a challenge to the way Republican lawmakers drew Wisconsin’s electoral districts.

It’s the first case to challenge how far lawmakers may go to gain partisan advantage in creating political district maps, known as gerrymandering.

A lower court struck down Wisconsin’s districts ordering new maps draw in time for the 2018 elections.

A Supreme Court opinion on the matter is likely to impact elections and redistricting efforts across the country.
