AG Jeff Sessions Set to Testify Before Senate Intelligence Committee

Attorney General Jeff Sessions will testify in an open hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Attorney General will likely face questions about his contacts with Russian officials, as well as his involvement in the decision to fire former FBI boss James Comey.

Sessions, who recused himself from the Russia probe, said during his confirmation hearing that he did not have contact with the Russians. He later said that he did meet with the Russian ambassador in 2016, but in his role as a U.S. Senator, not as a surrogate for the Trump campaign.
