Reaction is beginning to roll in to the testimony of ousted FBI Director James Comey before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
FOX's Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Asked about James Comey's testimony that President Trump wanted him to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn and took it as a "directive," House Speaker Paul Ryan pointed out President is new new to the job:
(Ryan) "He probably wasn't steeped in the long-running protocols that establish the relationships between DOJ, FBI and White Houses."
Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer spoke earlier on the Senate floor:
(Schumer) "The U.S. Senate and by extension the American people deserve to know the truth about Mr. Comey's interactions with the President."
Donald Trump, Jr. tweeted: "Knowing my father for 39 years when he 'orders or tells' you to do something there is no ambiguity, you will know exactly what he means".
