Man Pays Tribute to ‘Back to the Future’ with “Dream” Speeding Ticket
An impromptu movie tribute gets a man pulled over for speeding in southern California, but he says he’s okay with it.
FOX’s Chris Foster reports:
That’s how fast the car had to be going to time travel in the “Back to the Future” movies. That was a Delorean, and Spencer White says he’s wanted one ever since.
He bought one, taking his mom for a ride in Santa Clarita, California, getting it up to 85.
(White) “She just says take it up to 88, let’s do it.”
No time travel, but few seconds later, California highway patrol…
(White) “I just started busting up laughing. My mom starts busting up laughing. He’s even got this big grin on his face.”
He says the officer even had him take a picture of the radar gun before giving him a ticket for about $400.
Worth it, White says:
(White) “That’s kind of the dream ticket.”
