Country Artists React to Manchester Attack
FOX’s Michelle Pollino brings you the early scoop with “FOX Country”:
Country music responds to the attacks in Manchester by saying the show must go on. Maren Morris and the Cadillac Three are slated to perform in Manchester on Nov. 20 as part of her ‘Hero Tour’, and she reassured fans she’ll be there through an Instagram post. Also performing Brent Cobb, posting on his Facebook that after much consideration, they’ve decided to perform, posting, “while we do not want to be insensitive to your tragedy, we also refuse to let terrorism win.”
And Charles Esten is scheduled to begin a European tour with other members of the ‘Nashville’ cast June 9, posting on social media, “Such heartbreaking horror, sending prayers, love, strength and healing from Nashville to Manchester. Soon we’ll bring them in person.”
Meanwhile, Esten and is saluting the Nashville Predators in the only way they know how, by making music recording a song for their Stanley Cup run, “Here Come the Predators.”
