President Trump Defends New Budget Deal
President Trump praised the budget bill working its way through Congress.

Facing conservative anger at what critics see as a cave to Democrats on everything from sanctuary cities to funding for Planned Parenthood to lack of funding for a border wall with Mexico, President Trump is defending the $1 trillion-plus budget deal heading for a vote later this week:
(President Trump) “After years of partisan bickering, and gridlock, this bill is a clear win for the American people.”
The spending bill, which adds billions for the Pentagon and border security measures, would fund the government through the end of September.
