President Trump: I’d Meet with Kim Jong-un ‘Under the Right Circumstances’

As North Korea threatens another nuclear test, President Trump says he may be willing to meet with the nation’s reclusive leader.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

He acknowledged it would be unusual, but President Trump told Bloomberg he would be “honored” to sit down with the North Korean leader:

(President Trump) ”Most political people would never say that, but I’m telling you, under the right circumstances I would meet with him.”

The President has not ruled out military action to stop Pyongyang’s nuclear ambitions and the administration has been turning to the international community for help.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer has said the President is going about the North Korea situation “all wrong”, saying he’s leaning on China too much.
