Wrong Place & Time to Drop Drugs in Court for an Ohio Man
The search is on in Ohio for a man who dropped his drugs in court.
FOX’s Anna Eliopoulos reports:
It was a normal day in Judge Mark Mihok’s Lorian courtroom:
(Lorian) “We’re having traffic court, so it’s crowded, many people in.”
When 39-year-old Lemar Reed came up to enter a plea on a minor traffic violation. Security cameras picked up a little plastic bag falling out of his baseball cap. An hour later, a security officer noticed it on the floor:
(Lorian) “He picked it up, looked at it. It had a white powdery substance in it, which he thought might be a narcotic.”
And it turns out it was cocaine. Now, a warrant is out for Reed’s arrest:
(Lorian) “He made a simple traffic ticket where there’s only the possibility of a fine and turned it into a felony, so not a good day for him.”
