United Airlines has reached a settlement with a doctor who was dragged off of one of their flights earlier this month.

FOX's Jeff Monosso has the details:

The lawyer for Doctor David Dow says his client has agreed to a deal with United Airlines for the injuries that he received April 9 that drew outrage when viral videos showed the doctor being forcefully dragged off a booked flight here in Chicago...

A provision of the settlement is that the amount that Dow has paid will remain secret. Attorney Tom Demetrio says that United should be applauded.

This also amid the airlines announcement of coming changes that it hopes will help lure customers back.
