‘Fate of the Furious’ Cast Discuss the Staying Power of the Franchise
FOX’s Ashley Dvorkin catches up with the stars of the ‘The Fate of the Furious’ and gets the scoop on the franchises latest movie:

“The Fate of the Furious” is the 8th installment for the high-speed blockbuster franchise. Producer and star Vin Diesel and longtime castmate Michelle Rodriguez talked about the franchise’s staying power:
(Diesel) “This family, this world, these themes, these codes of honor and loyalty and brotherhood have been adopted by a huge public.”
(Rodriguez) “It boils down to a lack of representation in this massive beautiful dream weaving system we call Hollywood and you know we feel the weight of that.”
New cast members include Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron in a villainous role:
(Theron) “Off the bat, there’s something great about witnessing a character coming in and taking what she wants.”
