Homeland Security Sec. Unsure of the Cost of Mexico Border Wall

The Trump administration’s border wall may look different than originally envisioned.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly told the Senate Homeland Security Committee the project could include fencing, sensors and other barrier technology:

(Kelly) “It’s unlikely that we will build a wall or physical barrier from sea to shining sea.”

And he said he can’t yet give an estimate of how much it will cost:

(Kelly) ”I don’t know what it will be made of, I don’t know how high it will be.”

Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill said lawmakers will not write a blank check for the project. Several potential builders have submitted design bids.
