President Trump Expects a “Winner Vote” on Health Care

President Trump appearing on Capitol Hill Tuesday in an effort to rally GOP lawmakers behind his health care bill.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from the Capitol:

The President came here to the Capitol to convince staunch Conservatives to vote for the health care legislation.

House Speaker Paul Ryan backs the bill:

(Ryan) “This is our chance to build a better, a fairer and a better health care system for all Americans.”

The President said he had a great meeting and that he thinks they’ll get a “winner vote”. FOX News has learned President Trump told lawmakers up for re-election in 2018, that it will be bad for them if they don’t back the plan.

The House Rules Committee takes the bill up tomorrow, the next step towards a full House vote, expected Thursday.
