House Intelligence Committee Wants DOJ to Provide Documents Related to President Trump’s Wiretapping Accusation

The president facing pressure to offer some proof of his wiretapping allegation.

FOX’s Jon Decker reports from the White House:

The House Intelligence Committee wants the Department of Justice to provide any documents related to President Trump’s accusation, presented so far without evidence, that the Obama administration wiretapped his phones at Trump Tower during the campaign.

Former President Barack Obama has denied the allegations through a spokesman, and his former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, also has publicly refuted them.

President Trump sparked the controversy last weekend with a series of tweets alleging that the former President wiretapped his phones.
