Repealing & Replacing ObamaCare: Battle Continues Amongst Parties

There’s controversy on Capitol Hill, as lawmakers take up a White House-backed plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

FOXs Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Some staunch conservatives like Congressman Jim Jordan want a clean repeal bill without tax breaks to help people buy health insurance:

(Jordan) “Just repeal ObamaCare, pass the exact same thing that every single Republican 15 months ago in the Congress voted for.”

House Speaker Paul Ryan defended the tax credits:

(Ryan) ”This has been the crown jewel of conservative health care reform to equalize the tax treatment of health care, so that we can have a vibrant individual market.”

Democrats are opposed to the the repeal and replace plan, which they call “Trump Care”, worried that millions of Americans will pay more for health care while getting less.
