Trader Joe’s Apple Sauce Recall

    A voluntary applesauce recall is in the works from Trader Joe’s.

    FOX’s Pat O’Neill has more:

    The grocery store chain says three types of apple sauce may contain glass in the product jars. It’s received reports from several customers.

    The affected Trader Joe’s brands in 24 ounce containers are its First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein apple sauce. Its organic unsweetened apple sauce and its all-natural unsweetened apple sauce.

    Trader Joe’s says it’s removed all potentially-harmful products from its shelves. Anyone who finds those brands at home is urged to throw them away or return them for a full refund.
