Celebrities Ages Are No Longer Safe

Celebrities will not be able to hide their age on IMDb.

    FOX’s Jacquelyn Karl explains:

Bad news for celebs. A federal judge in San Francisco’s blocking a California law allowing actors and others in the entertainment industry to remove their ages from IMDb.com, a popular Hollywood website, which provides info about movies and TV shows and their casts and crews.

The law was intended to prevent age discrimination in Hollywood. The judge ruled the law raises First Amendment concerns by preventing IMDb from publishing factual information.
