Health and Human Services Nominee Pressed on ObamaCare
The Health and Human Services nominee is facing a lot of questions about the future of the Affordable Care Act.
FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:
If confirmed as Health and Human Services Secretary, Georgia Congressman Tom Price will play a central role in the Republican effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act:
(Sanders) “So you are telling us that to the best of your knowledge, Mr. Trump will not cut social security, medicare and medicaid?”
(Price) “As I say, I have no reason to believe that that position has changed.”
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders pressing Price on a campaign pledge by the President-elect.
Other Republican leaders have proposed changes to entitlement programs.
