CIA Director Nominee Pompeo: No Doubt Russia Interfered with Election
President-elect Trump’s choice to lead the CIA is pledging to deliver clear-eyed analysis if confirmed.

Kansas Congressman Mike Pompeo says he has no reason to doubt a recent intelligence assessment blaming Russia for multi-faceted campaign aimed at interfering with the November election:
(Pompeo) “Everything I’ve seen suggests to me that the report has an analytical product that is sound.”
Asked about some critical comments about the intelligence community from the President-elect, Pompeo says he doesn’t doubt the work of the CIA:
(Pompeo) “I have seen their morale through tough times where they were challenged before, and I have watched them walk through fire to make sure they did their jobs.”
Pompeo also pledged to not restart enhanced interrogation techniques at the CIA.
