One of NASCAR’s great drivers is pulling into the garage for good.
FOX’s Jared Max reports:
(Edwards) “I’ve been racing for over 20 years, it’s been something that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I have no regrets, it’s been a blast.”
Carl Edwards retires from NASCAR. At age 37, with 28 career victories under his belt, Carl Edwards addressed the room today in Huntersville, North Carolina, at the home of Joe Gibbs Racing headquarters.
He said, “there’s no life raft I’m jumping on, I’m just jumping. And in a way, that makes it easier.”
Next season Daniel Suarez, the reigning NASCAR Xfinity Series champion will take over for Edwards’ No. 19 Toyota Camry.
