U2 Announces 2017 Tour Celebrating 30 Years of ‘The Joshua Tree’

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers U2 will be back on the road in 2017 celebrating a special anniversary of one of their albums.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports: 

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of ‘The Joshua Tree’, U2 will play the entire 1987 album at each stop during a stadium tour set to kick off this coming summer.

The North American leg of the tour kicks off on May 12 in Vancouver and wraps up on July 1 in Cleveland, Ohio before heading to Europe. The tour includes a June stop at the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee, included on the U.S. leg of the tour will be Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers and OneRepublic. The bands will alternate openings.
