For the second year in a row, the Clemson Tigers met the Alabama Crimson Tide in the championship game, but the outcome was different this time.
FOX's Chris Hoenig reports:
The Clemson Tigers left it to the last second, literally:
DeShaun Watson finding Hunter Renfrow with one second left for the winning touchdown on ESPN. Clemson knocking off Alabama, 35-31 in a rematch of last year's championship game.
The Tigers scoring 21 fourth quarter points against a Crimson Tide defense that had only allowed only 11 points a game coming in and only 32 total points in the fourth quarter all season.
The Clemson Tigers are National Champs for the second time in school history and the first time in 35 years.
