North America’s ‘Car of the Year’ Announced

    General Motors and it’s all electric Chevy Bolt named North America’s ‘Car of the Year’ beating out the Genesis G90 and Volvo S90:

    (Beslic) “It just further validates everything we put into the vehicle, the design, the safety features, the whole package.”

    GM’s Kathy Beslic from the North American International Auto Show. Electric vehicles have failed to catch on with most American consumers amid low gas prices.

    But GM hopes that the Bolt’s range at 200-miles per charge and the price at $37,000 will help shift opinions.

    The Honda Ridgeline grabs top ‘Truck of the Year.’ While Fiat Chrysler’s Pacifica Minivan get’s top utility.
