Congress has made it official. President-elect Trump will be sworn-in in two weeks.

FOX's Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

The certification of the Electoral College by a joint-session of Congress saw several objections from a few House Democrats:

(Watters) "I wish to ask, is there one United States Senator who will join me in this letter of object?"

(Vice President Biden) "There is no debate. There is no debate. The gentlewoman will suspend."

Challenges to a state's electoral count need to be made by both a member of the House and the Senate. California Democrat Maxine Watters and her colleagues could not get a Senate supporter and when the counting was done,  Donald Trump was officially certified as the next President and Mike Pence as Vice President.

They will be sworn-in two weeks from today.
