Newsweek Reporter on the Hunt for Twitter User Following Seizure
A man looking for answers after receiving a life-threatening image on Twitter.
FOX’s Krystin Goodwin reports:
A Newsweek reporter with epilepsy asking Twitter to release the identity of the person, he says sent him an image, intentionally causing him to have a seizure.
Kurt Eichenwald says last week the unknown person sent him a strobe graphic with the words “you deserve a seizure for your posts.”
Eichenwald believes the cruel message was sent in response to his harsh online criticism of President-elect Donald Trump.
Eichenwald filed a request in Dallas county court Monday. Reps at Twitter say the company doesn’t comment on individual investigations, but says it suspended the offender’s account after “learning of the assault”.
